The exercise consists of eight movements that are performed in a slow and fluid manner, with each movement flowing smoothly into the next. The video below will take you through each movement in detail. Yet, practising with a qualified teacher is highly recommended for this Qigong. Prior knowledge and practice of other Qigong should be performed prior to learning this form.
Movements focus on stretching and contracting different muscle groups, and incorporating deep breathing to promote the flow of qi, or life energy, throughout the body. Some of the movements include twisting the waist, swinging the arms, and stretching the legs.
