Benefits of "Paint The Rainbow"

day six

The lao gong is a accupoint at the very centre of the  palm on either hand. The bai hui accupoint on top of your head in English terms is commonly known as the whorl. Towards the back of the skull where the hair “swirls”.

Earth Qi energy is drawn upwards by the outstretched hand. Pushed downward strengthening the stomach and digestion. Qi will flow to the heart and pericardium channels.

The Laogong point in the palm will connect and transmit cool, calming Qi via Baihui point, on the top of the head.

Caution: Do not do this exercise if you have hot or clammy palms or a cold wind-like feeling coming from the hands. Just repeat Shibashi No 1. raising the arms.

As you move your hand upwards, visualize you are scooping up all the good qi and positive energy. When your right hand reaches the top of your head, the lao gong should face the bai hui so that the positive energy travels downward to fill your whole body.
