Our classes as a health regimen

Community health is at the centre of our business philosophy. Our Tai Chi classes help deliver that philosophy. Because we are passionate about our practice, we are willing to share for all to enjoy. And more importantly the benefits of our classes and regular Tai Chi practice include but are not limited to the following.

QiGong for Stress Reduction

Qigong can bring harmony to both body and mind.  As you learn to channel chi energy through practice, you will come to relax more thus reducing the effects of stress.  Over time it will reduce significantly.

Tai Chi for Emotional Balance

If you reduce stress, your emotions will balance out leaving your mind at greater ease. Anybody suffering from depression and anxiety will know how important this is.  Everyday life is a challenge.

Overall Health Benefits

Well-being

QiGong will balance strength of body and balance the mind. Expanding the practice results in an overall increase in a sense of well-being.

Greater focus

Research groups discovered QiGong elevates levels of beta waves in brain sensory patterns.  This would indicate a strengthening in sharpness and clarity of the mind.

Memory Centres

The improvement in focus can then lead to an improvement in memory at the cognitive level.

An Increase and Lift in Vitality

The result of all the above is that a lift in energy level can only lead to a lift in inner strength and vitality. In addition to any articles or descriptions here on our website, we have an active Facebook Group for class members.

Tai Chi and QiGong can be performed simply for exercise yet for others it can have a deeper relationship to self-healing. With our classes we like to support the interests of all health-conscious community members.

What Our Students Say

An Interview With Carol

Logan City Council sought someone to interview about their Tai Chi experience.  We thought Carol was the perfect candidate.  From the feedback received it was the right choice.

Carol leaves lasting impressions on everyone in our group. She exudes a personality and charm which seems to invigorate those around her. Tales from her travels are always entertaining.

Thoroughly enjoying my time at Tai Chi. Just one hour away from the daily grind is great at any time. The relaxing atmosphere and gentle movement really is like meditation.

When I first heard about classes in Logan I jumped at the chance. I'd heard so much about the health benefits. Anxiety was my enemy but since practicing to breathe correctly it helps so much.

I'd had such a busy life as an executive before I retired. I was at a loose end before I started this program. I now realise how much my inner organs needed help. And such relaxing movements. I would recommend to anyone.

I had tried Tai Chi a couple of times before this. But each time would be the same. The teacher would just say follow what I do. Nobody had ever explained things the movements like this program does.
