So many ailments and illnesses can reap the benefits of
Tai Chi and meditation. Fibromyalgia, Chronic Obstructive
Pulmonary Disease (C.O.P.D), Parkinson’s Disease, Arthritis,
Heart Disease and Epilepsy are just a few. People with similar
illnesses to those listed – and also those suffering from other
common ailments – are always on the lookout for a way to
make their lives more comfortable. I have seen first hand just how much difference it can make.
All the more so for those with chronic, long-lasting conditions who, naturally, feel that they have not been dealt a great hand in the health stakes. Speaking with others who suffer from severe illnesses but who have been practicing Tai Chi for some time is an uplifting experience. To hear how their lives are changing and finding out how things seem so much more manageable – now that they have taken up Tai Chi – is inspiring.
